2012 RYA National Sailing Scheme courses
During the 2012 season, SWSC will initially be running two RYA Level 1 courses for beginners and improvers on 12th & 13th May and the following weekend, 19th & 20th May. This RYA Level 1 course for adults (16 and over) is a two day course for a maximum of eight people and covers the fundamentals of dinghy sailing including preparation, safety, basic sailing skills and all other essential activities.
Costs for these courses are £120 per person for non-members of the sailing club or £100 per person for members. Boat hire is available for a modest fee to anyone who decides to join the club after the course in order to continue sailing.

Taster Sessions
Following enquiries about taster sessions we have decided to offer this opportunity to budding sailors on mutually agreeable dates. You will be taken for an afternoon sail in a Wayfarer or similar dinghy to experience the sensation of sailing and to get an idea of what is involved.
The cost for these sessions is £20.00 per boat which is deductible from a membership fee should at least one of the crew decide to join the club to continue sailing.
