On Sunday 6th November there will be a race coaching session for club members. The day will start at 10.00 and will run until mid to late afternoon, depending on weather conditions and how well we have progressed. The event is open to all club members from beginners to experts, so come along and see what you can learn.
The coaching is being provided by Peter Robinson. Peter is a very experienced racing coach and has a lot of knowledge to share! He has enjoyed much success in racing himself, chiefly in Merlin Rockets, and has competed in several offshore races. His time is now spent coaching, in particular for the Mirror class, in which his sons are world champions.
It is expected that most of the time will be spent on or near the water, so come equipped to sail your boat as normal. And to keep logistics for the day as simple as possible, it is recommended that you bring a packed lunch.
Let’s make the day a success and ensure Peter is making good use of his time visiting us at SWSC. If you intend to come along it would be great if you could say as much using the ‘Leave a Reply‘ box below. We can then let Peter know what to expect and it’s good practice with the technology as well!
